I was planning on joining one of Habitat for Humanity’s Youth Immersion programs either this summer or during one of my breaks this year. But when I went onto the website to look up the dates it said that individual programs no longer exist! I can’t do a group program, part of my reasoning on wanting to do this was to do something on my own without my friends. Making a group of people in order to participate would be against that purpose. (Though, it’s not my only reason for wanting to do this.)
So, do you know where I can find a week or so long program for people around the age of 17 in the USA. I don’t want to go international. And I only want it to be a week or two if it’s during the school year, so I can find one during a break. But if it’s during the summer it can be up to a month.
Oh, and if you know why Habitat got rid of it’s individual youth programs feel free to indulge. I’m curious… and annoyed.

a friend of mine stole stuff (first time ever) at shoppers drug mart and supposedly he has to attend this program next week. he said that theyre gonna make him write an apology letter there but is that all they do? cuz thats not much of a punishment … not that i would want it to be severe or anything lol
